Solved Windows 7 system sounds and communications option

[SOLVED] Low volume for system sounds? - Configuration - Windows 7

so for some reason communications option to reduce the volume of sounds wen recieving calls affects system sounds all the time, even wehn no call is active.

dont know exactly when it happened, im guessing with some of windows update bc im pretty sure it wasnt like that when i first installed

also it seems to kick in some time after boot as (i think) window login sound at boot isnt affected (have to check few more times to be sure)

The issue can be solved by disabling the communication option and restarting before enabling it again
