Solved Windows 7 Update "Service Not Running" Error

I did try SURT program. It gives me an error message. Screenshot attached in previous post.

And my research on that error shows that points back to that Intel Storage driver again, especially if your HDD is over 700GB. They have released a new one since the OEM driver. Are you running version 9.6.0.1014?

Thanks for throwing light on me buddy. It was the problem with AHCI driver. I re-installed the AHCI driver and everything is just fine now. Once again thanks a lot. Definitely rep u.

This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -

Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
try downloading and installing them from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=22194

(you want the iata_enu.exe download)

Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.

Thanks for letting us know what it was that fixed it, pmr1990, and thanks for the positive rep! (Wow, my first positives!)
As a point for future reference, the link that NoelDP gave is for version 11.7.0.1013 of that driver, while the one I found on Acer's site for you was 9.6.0.1014. Even though the older version works (for now), some will say always use the newest version, while some will say "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

And NoelDP, I hope I didn't step on your toes here. I don't mean to upstage anyone.
