Hi Guys,
Just upgraded from vista to windows 7, with a new instal, on a new computer and have a problem, in that when I
plug a USB Flash drive in, I cannot see it, or the contents of it, but it is recognized in the
'Safely remove hardware' box, by brand name and size.

It is not however recognized in my computer, but in the device manager it calls it an unknown device, under storage volumes, USB keyboard and Mouse are ok. Could use some advice please how
do I rectify the problem
Thanks and Regards
Bob

I would say you need a driver for the Flash Media controller and you would probably be able to find it on your motherboards site - support - downloads - drivers - type in the name of your motherboard or select from a list and your will taken to your driver page - it would probably also be on the cd that comes with your motherboard but a newer version online would be preferable.
