Recently, on my Dell laptop, I installed Ubuntu MATE 16.10. The Ubuntu installation worked fine, and it's what I'm writing on right now, but I am now not able to enter Windows. In GRUB, it gives me two options, boot from SDA1 and SDA2, both are Windows 7 and bring me to the same screen. Windows will go into the "Starting Windows" screen, but the flag never shows up, and for whatever reason, the HDD activity indicator lights up and never turns off. I have tried booting into safe mode and startup repair, but both show the "Loading Files..." screen, but the files never show up. I decided to make a bootable flash drive for Windows, and boot the Windows startup repair from there, and it worked. The repair took 4 hours, but did absolutely nothing to help when I rebooted. Please help, thanks!
P.S. I'm pretty sure the Ubuntu partitioner messed this up, but from the looks of it, no system folders have been overwritten.
