You could change the 1 to a 0 . Go to the registry

Click on rb: type in regedit inside

right click on REGEDIT and select

navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer

On the right hand side locate NoActiveDesktopChanges right click and select modify . Change the 1 to 0 and click Ok ? Close the registry .

Do you think it is a good idea if we can't figure this out to do that clean install, and is it fairly easy to do?

Yes . Lets leave reinstalling Windows to the end . Installing Windows is easy to do . Our own gregrocker created a great tutorial .

ok, i did it, and the pop up is back

just now i closed it and it kept coming back about 6 times, it stopped for 5 seconds then came back. Some times it will have like 3 or 4 on top of each other

When you go to C:\Users\ Your Account Name . Do you see 2 My Music folders ?

i checked and clicked on hidden files but still nothing. I did click on the music tab and it showed music library and it had 2 files.. 1-my music 2- public music

Lets see something .

Use RevoUninstaller and remove this program Unity . Select Advanced mode let it remove when it says its scanning for left over registry files and found some click on Select All then click Delete then click next do the same steps for left over files and folders . Once you're done restart the PC and see if the folder pops up .
