Solved Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

Hello everyone,

I have been facing this crash issue for quite sometime(almost 6 months) and i have not delved deep to scrutinize it, until now.

There have been many a discussion about debugging your dump file, but having no prior experience with it, i think i am just gonna upload it here for some expert to shed some light on the cause.

The symptoms are that my Lenovo laptop starts okay, but after the official logo, the machine never boots.This continues for may be an hour or even a day after which it normally boots and gives a problem log.

I have attached with this thread the required screenshots and the dump file.

It would be of great help, if anyone here gives an idea about the root cause of the problem.

Did you miss the information at the top of the screen which tells you exactly what to do to get BSOD help?

I did attach .zip as per BSOD instructions. I am sorry, what exactly is wrong with this thread?

Sigh........a single .dmp file is insufficient to solve a BSOD.

Additional information is required.

1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

DM Log Collector.exe

2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable.
