Solved Windows Media Player Help returns the wrong help screen

From the Windows Media Player menu bar, selecting [Help]->[Windows Media Player Help] returns the "Windows Help and Support" screen, the content of which has no apparent connection to Windows Media Player.

What is the secret to getting the Windows Media Player help facility to return help about the Windows Media Player?

Turning on the "Online Help" option seems to have fixed the problem.
