Hello everyone!

I'm trying to make a video of home movies for the elderly members of our family that live away from us. I'm trying to make it out of several different clips, but for some reason it's only showing half of them properly.

It says 'Click to fix' - but then says I need to remove those specific ones before the project can be saved.

I've tried copying and pasting the original files and loading them in that way, but it does the same thing.
I've looked at each of the files and they are all the same format as they're all taken from my iPhone (.MOV)

The files that are not working play through Windows Media Player for a while then they stop playing.

When I click the 'web help' option that comes up; it takes me to a 'Windows Media Player error C00D11B1' webpage. The help available has been regretfully unhelpful, but I've edited lots of home movies the same way from the same phone with the same software and never had a problem before.

Does anyone have any advice please?
I've attached screenshots - hope they help!

Thank you so much ♥

I don't use MOV files, but my first thought would be to ensure that all the clips are the same dimensions and aspect ratio.

Such as 640 x 480 or whatever you choose.

It may help to convert the MOV files to some other format such as WMV or AVI. There are several programs that can do such a conversion.

You may want to try some other program to edit and join the clips. I use Machete Lite, but it does not work on MOV files.

Those are just my opinions based on my own attempts at editing and joining clips together. I'm no expert and your mileage may vary.

Hey.

I dont know much about movie making. I will say that apple products tend to be apple exclusive. I would bet that windows movie maker is not compatible with the ".mov" file type. I would either convert the file to a windows compatible video source or find someone who has an apple computer and do it on there's. Good luck!
