windows Starting

Hi All,
Whenever I start my computer my computer stay on "Windows" and the ring is keep turning for good 45 seconds and then I see my desktop.
any permanent solution.

Uncheck everything in msconfig>Startup except your AV and gadgets if you use them.

Then enter msconfig>Services, Hide All MS Services, to see what is still running without your knowledge. Uncheck it, check back occasionally to make sure nothing writes itself back into either place, or turn it off in its Program Preferences or Uninstall it.

Make sure you have the latest drivers from optional Windows Updates.
