Hey guys
So after preforming fresh OS install did the drivers and then went to Windows Updates, the updates came out fast installed the first wave very smoothly then when reaching SP1 and installing it the Windows Updates was stuck on "searching for updates",did another OS install but this time kept SP1 for last, all were installed until no more updates were appearing except for SP1,installed it and bam Windows Update was broken again.
So what do i do here ? i've already done some of the "fixes" and nothing works,as soon as SP1 is installed the whole thing breaks,i've tried to install SP1 manually right after the format and the same thing happens.....:banghead:

Your one of the luck ones.
Most have reported from 8 to 24 hours of searching and searching for updates.
Their has got to hundreds of post about slow updating on this forum alone.

Lucky you!

I had this very thing happen to me. ONLY AFTER SP1 AND THE NEW UPDATE CLIENT VERSON
did updating happen at a glacial pace, it took my system over three hours to register the new updates, you could tell from the performance monitor that parts of the Windows Update Services system were NOT running and my network (modem) was not showing any downstream activity (downloading of updates).
Oddly as well once I did most of the updates post SP1 some of them (about a dozen) like IE11 still did not download, and after serveral attempts I noticed strange behavior at 50% downloaded IE11 the microsoft servers shut down on me! (internet light went red!) only happened on ms servers no where else.
