Solved Windows update error 0x80073701

OK - I'll create a fix that works a different way...
Please download SFCFix from here... http://www.sysnative.com/niemiro/apps/SFCFix.exe and save it to your desktop


I've uploaded a file - SFCFix.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it to your desktop

*
Now drag the SFCFix.zip file over onto the SFCFix.exe file - this should force SFCFix to run the file
It will create a new log file - please upload that.
*
Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)
*
Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Ok I just did that. and here are the files.

It looks like there arent any errors
I'm about to restart computer and try to update.
I just reset it and tried to update same thing. I have no idea why even though all logs uploaded show no error

OK - please post the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file, and run a new SFC /SCANNOW and post the new CBS.log

yeah I ran sfc right away lol. here are the logs (i shortened the cbs log to be able to upload)

This is the latest windows update log I tried it today.
I also ran sfc /scannow again a few days ago but dont remember if I finished it or not lol I think i closed it without finishing it hopefully not though I'm going to run it again tonight and keep my laptop on I'll post updated info tomorrow.

So I ran sfc /scannow and I uploaded the latest part of the cbs The can should start around 21:53 I also ran windows update standalone installer which gave the same error and might show up on the cbs I think.

well after doing a search on the error versions of windows update 7.6.7600.320 and 7.6.7600.256 someone recommend to download kb3050265 and i did and it installed fine and i restarted it showed typical windows update configuring xx% and once I restarted it and tried to update it stayed checking for a while then showed 164 updates lol
