Hi all,

In the past (years ago ?) I got the option in the windows menu next to "shut down" also to have the option to "Windows update and shutdown".
How to get this back?
2 weeks ago I, got it once, but since than I didn't work for the updates.

What needs to be done to get it?

In general I would like to see more developers support a update on shutdown feature.

OS
Windows 7
If Windows has downloaded (but not installed) some updates, you will see those two shutdown options. If you don't see "update and shutdown", then that's because Windows has installed all updates it has downloaded.

In order to get Windows to download updates automatically in the background, go into Control Panel / Windows Updates, and tell it to automatically download but not to install Windows updates.
