Here's a utility that has fixed my own update issues. Click on the big
BLUE button about half way down the page for the zip file.

I'm not sure if this has fixed it, or the method I tried before, but BITS service is now running and WU is working fine as well. So I guess the solution was one of these two:

I can't describe how thankful I am right now, to you both koolkat77 and Britton30. It's really nice to know that some people are actually ready to help without any returns. Dowload speed was very slow at first, but it's going just fine now. Once again guys, thank you very much for the time you've wasted to help me. I guess it's time to mark this as solved. If some one gets the same problem, I hope one of two solutions posted above will be enough to fix it.
