Windows Update unable to check for updates Please Help

i have downloaded "Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1 x64" from microsoft servers. installed it from disk. installed all my drivers. my anti virus my anti malware. my pc is clean from threats/malware.

i have reset i have gone through all the steps to fix windows update. i fixed the error where the windows update service is corrupt and/or missing. still takes for ever to check for updates. i have a Windows 7 home Premium 64 setup disk from 2010 before Service pack 1 release. the windows update works fine before microsoft kicked out support for non service pack 1. anyway. i dont know what to do.

MS hates us W7 users,
No problem your end, its thier servers that are putting us in the really slow lane.
best bet let it run overnight.
