If i try to do anything with the updater the windows jsut freezes. So I can't update anything or check for updates. Not that it matter cause windows 7 WONT SHUTDOWN, witch is another thing i need to find out how to fix. I tried shutting it down and 15 mins later still say shutting down. -_-

Not sure if this has fix any of the problems for me yet will go test it out.


Edit: Nope nothing was fixed everything that wasn't working still isn't working.

thing is it was a clean install the only thing i can think of is it is not a "windows" CD it's the ISO burned from a student store so it could have been the install went wrong cause it was taking a long time to get some of that stuff done.

I tried to do that tho it didn't want to read the but I'm a redownload it and see if it can do it from that or try burning it again.

Good idea. Make a USB key instead of burning if you can. That will eliminate potential burn errors from the mix.

Looks like the new install is working had some problems before that but least I am able to get updates and run winamp for now. Now i onyl need to call windows for my 500 million long access code =\
