I did a clean install of windows 7 after installing a new motherboard and CPU but windows updates are not going through and I think it may be a major security risk. It is showing 100 important updates that need to be installed, but when I start updating it is showing 0kb total, 0% complete. After running for ~15 minutes it shows that all 100 updates have failed along with the two unknown error codes. Attempting to update items one at a time gives the same results.
After attempting to run sfc /scannow it gets to 4% then stops saying "Windows Resource Protection could now perform the requested operation."
I have gotten popups from windows saying "your computer will shut down in 1 minute" and there seems to be no way to stop it. I also seem to be running slower than I was before the new parts despite the obvious upgrade. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: just got "windows must shut down in 1 ause the DCOM Server Process Launcher service terminated unexpectedly"
