Windows Updates Failing/Not Installing

I've just started receiving a problem with not being able to install Windows updates. They seem to download ok, but I'm getting failing errors upon trying to install them.

The error codes I'm receiving are Code 800B0100, and Code 8024200D.

I've run scan now under the command prompt and did not receive any integrity issues.

I'm trying to attach the CBS.zip file to this thread, but all I end up with is a 404 server error, so I'm not sure what that's all about. At any rate, I'll keep trying to upload the file for someone more knowledgeable than me to take a look at, and hopefully, please help me out.

Ok, I realized that the CBS.zip file was too large to attach. I've deleted out some of the .cab files to get under the limit. Hopefully, this helps now. View attachment 337398

I've uploaded a file - wspaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder wspaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be two folders inside it (Manifests, and Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

And the content of the manifests folder (.manifest files) into this folder:

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Great - CheckSUR is happy.
Now do a Check for Updates, and attempt to install ONLY the oldest one found.
If it fails, post back with the KBnumber and the Error code.

Noel - No luck on the update. I picked the oldest one like you requested, and it failed. The update is KB2911501, and the error code is Code 8024200D.

The standalone download and install worked fine, thanks for that. As for the others, I have 6 left currently, should I try using the updater for those? All at once? One at a time?

Do another Check for updates and then try installing them all - with any luck they'll go in now. If not, look for the one that fails with a different error code to the rest, post the code and the KB number.
