so i've been trying to fix this for the best part of a week now and its finally got the better of me and i'm resorting to doing the thing no man wants to do and i'm asking for help.

My comp just doesnt seem to be able to get a connection through the ethernet anymore which is considerably faster and more reliable when it does work. all i'm getting is unidentified network no network access

i have tried running the troubleshooter, disabling the windows firewall and avg but no joy. checked the ip is dynamic. reset router, adapter, and pc, tried some reset dns catalog command, tried ammending the network type and values in the NIC adapter properties. none of these worked so i set them all back to what they were before and nothing has made any difference. also tried an ip config release and renew, but again nothing

thanks in advance for your help

Hi alexg,

Besides the personal computer, it's also an easy task to get the default IP address of your home network through various other accessories like the cell phone, iPhone, tablet pc and much more. Let's examine how we can do that.

If you're an iPhone 6s user go to the Configuration settings app. In the options application find the Wi-Fi option and tap on it.

If you're an Android user, the networking system specifics can't be located so quickly. Nevertheless, this is fixed without difficulty by using some third party app. Once you install the app, it is possible to discover the wireless router IP very quickly.

As we have mentioned in Windows platforms, the default router IP can be found in other computer operating systems.
