WMP keeps recreating a folder.

A while back, I created a folder on my desktop containing a My Music, My Documents, and My Videos. Later on, I decided that I didn't want that folder any more so I started using the folders that were in the user profile folder. I changed the library locations in WMP but every time I start the program it recreates the folder on my desktop. How in the world can I fix this?

It sounds like the wmp library has some leftovers in it. Try following this tutorial to rebuild the library in wmp.

That did not fix it, however, I figured it out. Apparently, when I made the folder on my desktop I changed the windows location of the my music, my documents, and my videos folders. When I started WMP and the folder reappeared, I opened it, selected the my music folder, went to properties and clicked on the location tab. From there I just clicked default and it fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.
