Not long ago I ran into several problems which required me to do a clean install of Win 7 Home Prem x64. No problem, got that all sorted away. And since a lot of my stuff is stored on separate hard drives I didn't lose all that much really.

Just, well, personalizations for the most part. Like the fullsize album art settings for Windows Media Player. I hated, with a frothing madness, what happened to that little bit of the program. So anyway I got called away for a time and while I was gone a "helpful" person (who, if I can get this fixed, wont die... painfully... messily... slowly... etc) that went in and decided to try his hand at altering the various registry values to restore fullsize album art. And no he didn't succeed. But what he has done ... No New Album Art displayed in the ... um... general display (ie lookin' at the music listing).

All the album art that was present before I had to leave is fine. But WMP wont even accept drag-n-drops for the missing art.

Same album showing that the embedded art is present... and that I did get is to go fullsized. And... that I'm an anime nut. My apologies. m(_ _)m

Is there, somewhere, a master list of the stock registry values for WMP12? So I can go in and either kill or repair the ones he messed up.

OR is there any other method to rectify this issue?

Have you tried a system restore to before it got stuffed up, if that is not an option maybe this will help to fix it, go to contol panel, in the search control panel box (upper right corner), type troubleshooter, click troubleshooting in the list then click on view all (upper left corner) select media player in the list and reset it to default settings.

Well... restore tain't an option. But I'll try the other options you mentioned. Domo.

Edit: I just used the reset and its all fixed. After doing so, I then changed the art size back to my preference and re-did the alterations to swap to 64bit version in the registry. Now I'm golden (fingers crossed). Thanks BrightBlessings.
