hmm, you might wanna try doing a trace using taint log.
I am sure WoW forums will have the instructions.

My girlfriends computer is giving this issue, she is using the 64 bit version of windows which could be part of the problem.

We have added -opengl to the warcraft shortcut which has stopped the BSOD but wow still crashes, it just doesnt kill the whole system. We also turned off transparencyin windows which seems to have helped some.

drag the wow folder onto a seperate drive or partition. that usually stops that. I have not had an issue with wow. and addons don't matter as they are written for wow, not win7. also if its on another drive/partition then you dont have to worry about reinstalling if your OS ever goes down or you reinstall.

Thats what i automatically did. I have the entire wow folder on an external hdd, so Its never on the same partition as my OS.
This also saves you from having re-installing issues if you ever get any :)

I just installed and reactivated my wow account, runs smooth so far. I installed to a a second harddrive and just started it, without admin or compatibility mode and it ran just fine, no CTD or bluescreen.
