Yellow Faces in Azureus (Vuze)

For the life of me I can't get green faces in Azureus on windows 7. I booted up vista just to check and it was fine but in 7 no go. I'm using the same port which is forwarded on the router so I don't understand why it doesn't work on 7100.
Any ideas.

To test, turn off your Windows firewall. Bet it works.

Then, turn it back on and allow Azureus access through the ports that it needs.

You disabled the windows firewall completely and it still didn't work?

The *only* other thing I can think of is that your router is configured to allow the Azureus ports through but a router looks at the name of the computer so if your W7 install has a different name for the PC than the Vista one, it won't apply those rules. Long shot, but it might be worth looking into.

got it man!! i turned the firewall off and bingo! now i'll just configure it to allow the port.

Ah, glad that worked.

a router wont resolve IP port forwarding to name resolution. it goes, mac, ip, port, then application... is the way the router will "filter" incoming and outgoing traffic.

Make sure you have both UDP AND TCP forwarded to the corresponding port to the pc IP in question.

yeah all that was good. the problem was windows firewall. once i allowed azureus i was good to go. (i can't believe i forgot that)

Im having a similar problem, but only with the UDP ports, in Windows 7 build 7264.
with RC 7100 was fine.
Window's firewall is offline ( disabled in services )
and I have properly configured my comodo firewall to allow azureus, so.. whats going on?
