Your opinion of Asus as a brand?

Asus make some very different products -- laptops, motherboards, video cards. To get some useful answers, you need to tell us which of these is your interest.

They are no better or worse than the others you have listed. Choose the type of laptop you are looking for, and once you have an idea of the specs you want, compare the prices between them.

I've had much better luck with Asus than I've had with HP and Acer (you couldn't give me anything made by HP or Acer). Asus has a better reputation than Dell.

I much prefer Asus, for there support, Build quality, and components, always found there drivers to be very reliable aswell.
