Post Your Overclock! [2]

Is there a simple OC'ing guide? I'd love to OC one of my many PC's. I don't care about damaging, I got all files saved, and multiple PC's to work with if one is screwed :p

Have they got overclockable (if that's a word) CPUs? You need an unlocked multiplier :)

CPUs in my PC's I'm interested in OC'ing.
Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 @ 1.83 GHz (I know people say OC'ing on a laptop is pretty much impossible, but I've got nothing to lose)
Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.20 GHz
AMD Athlon 64 XD @ 2.2 GHz
Intel Pentium Dual Core @ 2.4 GHz

You also need to have a BIOS that has settings available for overclocking. I think 99% of factory PCs have that all locked out.

Yeah I burnt a c2e before and it was heart breaking though Thanks to the new architecture and smaller dyes its almost fool proof as long as you know the ceiling. Also set ups like mine do require higher than average power settings. It was worth a cold sweat and some shivers first time around.

I never seen my temps hit that high in the heat or otherwise but if it works for you who are we to complain underload my temps reach 38c at the most @1.42volts then again im using AMD so the threshholds are different when it comes to heat

When I was in Scotland it would be something I'd dread about but being in South East Asia tropical climate with afternoon temps hitting 40 celcius more often than not I'd say I'm pretty satisfied. The humidity here can be unbearable too.
