I would have removed them too if this was my computer. I doubt you deliberately installed any of them, do you recognize them?

Also, C:\Windows\kmsem\KMService.exe (which should be deleted now) - looks like a Windows/Office/Authentication Crack/Hack.

Mark, I tried looking around on the solidworks site to see if any one else there had a similar problem but every time I searched they wanted me to sign/log-in; I could manually search but after "tens of pages" I didn't see anything so I couldn't find out anything there.

I noticed you did have some bad malware with the scans gokay asked you to run and even though you removed all that was found, there could still be more that is harder to find. The malware could be the reason for the side by side error and if that's the case it may be easier to correct your problem with an image backup if you have one, in lieu of that a clean install or factory restore would be next.

Read Kosh Vorlon's answer here and pay particular attention to the second and third paragraphs. We could ask you to run an SFC scan, gather up the CBS files and have NoelDP look at them to try and create a fix that may or may not work, this would involve at least two more days and you needed this program "three days ago".

The only thing I can think of at this point is maybe, "maybe" you tried to install a x64 program on your x32 machine in which case I would d/l'd the correct bit version, uninstall what you have now and reinstall the correct version to see if that works and install "as administrator".

You haven't answered my two previous questions from post #4:

• When you installed "this program you need" did you notice if it asked you to install any C++ or .NET packs? If it did and you did not I would try uninstalling the said program and then while reinstalling add those packs that it needs.

• Finally, Make sure you have the .NET feature turned on; Go to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...-turn-off.html and find the box for .NET 3.5.1 and put a check in its box. You can safely uncheck the two features that are listed under it unless this "program you need" has anything to do with Windows Communication Foundation HTTP activation.

Have you tried asking on the solidworks forum for help?

now i'm trying to install another solidworks, i have brought this program on USB flash and just copped into my computer and on trying to run as administrator brings the same window whit same text about side-by side configuration this program gave me my friend whose PC is 32 bit too

Two things.

1.) I would say your USB drive has been compromised, and

2.) It sounds like you are trying to install software that you obtained surreptitiously. You may want to talk with your friend on how s/he installed it on his/her machine.

From what I understand from OP's latest post, he isn't even installing the program. Merely copy-pasting another installation and I agree with Anak regards to non-genuine software. I already hinted on this in a previous post.

GokAy, there is a slight language barrier here, thanks for reading between the lines.

If Mark is just doing a copy/paste the program will definitely not work. There are changes made to the operating system (OS) during the installation of a program that never show in the program's Folder.

The reason you received the side by side (sxs) use systrace to trace the error is because the program you tried to start needs one of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributal packs whether it be the 2005, 2008, 2010, x86 or x64 versions to run; This also involves .Net Framework.

Some questions and possible courses of action:

• You could check in Event Viewer under Windows Logs" >"Applications" to see if the "program you need" is listed as a sxs error, it should tell you in "Details" which pack you need. If there are details please upload a screenshot of the error so we can help you decipher it. How to upload a screenshot or file.

• Check to make sure you are up to date with Windows Updates. Check for any C++ or .NET updates that you may have hidden. Force a check for Windows Updates, Windows may see that this "program you need", needs a particular C++ or .NET version and offer it to you.

• When you installed "this program you need" did you notice if it asked you to install any C++ or .NET packs? If it did and you did not I would try uninstalling the said program and then while reinstalling add those packs that it needs.

I formated my pc for a few days ago and for some reason i didn't have Visual C++ 2008 installed...

If you did the reinstall from a backup you might want to check it to make sure it has Visual C++ 2008 on it, if not you may want to make a new backup.
