0X00000124 error plz help

Hi All

I just put together my computer a 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. I was asked by my graphic card manufacture to give him a number on the card (Quadro K4000) so I removed it and put it back when I was done. A few hours later it started to give me the blue screen of death, the only thing that had change was the fact that I had taken out and put back in my card. I've been going crazy to try and fix this problem, but it just keeps crashing. I just tried starting it without the graphics card, it lasted longer then normal so i tried to back up my programs with the time but as I was doing that it crashed. The file I've attached is all the dump files I have, the last one is without the card. If I could at least find out what the problem is hardware or software it would make fixing the problem easier. Plz help

I didn't know about the dump tool you guys use before i posted sorry. And my dump settings wasn't set to small (256 kb) so I don't Know if this is ok if not let me know and I'll do it over.

Why did the GPU maker want the number?

You logically didn't reinstall the card properly, not fully in the slot maybe? You may have accidently moved or loosened something else during removal or putting it back. re-check the RAM and all PSU connections along with the GPU.

He needed it to send me a display port 1.2 to DVI part for my monitor. I guess it was to prove I had the piece idk. I dont think i loosened anything inside but i can check again

Its as if the problem has gotten worst when i test my computer with the graphics card it goes blue screen with in 2-3 mins without the card maybe 20 to 40 mins I don't know what is going on.

Bugcheck 124 is a hardware failure check. So for this I am going to have you run a series of tests on your hardware so we can pinpoint the problem. If more BSODs pop up in the mean time, then post the new files.

You have a 0x124 hardware bugcheck. If the system is still under warranty, I would recommend sending it in to have diagnostic tests done and any bad hardware replaced.

   Warning
Before you proceed with the following, answer these two questions: Are you still under warranty? Does your warranty allow you to open up the machine to check hardware? If you are unsure of the answers to these questions, contact your system manufacturer. :warn:WARNING: The steps that follow can void your warranty!!!

For your hardware stop 0x124 crash, read through http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html and use the following hardware checks to supplement that link.

  • If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop.

  • If you have an SSD, make sure the following are up to date:
    • SSD firmware
    • BIOS Version
    • Chipset Drivers
    • Hard disk controller drivers/SATA drivers
    • If you have a Marvell IDE ATA/ATAPI device, make sure the drivers are up to date from the Intel site or Marvell site and not from your motherboard/vendor support site.

  • Run all but the advanced tests with SeaTools for HDDs.
  • Monitor temperatures during the following tests.
    Use the following programs to monitor the temperatures.​

  • Run the boot version of Memtest86+ paying close attention to Parts 2 and 3 of the tutorial. Also, in case Memtest86+ misses anything and comes up with no errors, run the extended version of the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool for at least five passes. These you may want to run overnight since they take a long time to complete (run them an hour before bed each of the next two nights and check before going to sleep that they are still running).

Hold something metallic while touching it to the anti-static surface, or use an anti-static wristband to attach to the anti-static material while working. If you do not have an anti-static workbench, desk, or pad, you can use your computer tower/case by finding a metal hold in it, such as a drive bay.
    Once these steps have been followed, it is safe to remove and replace components within your computer.

We aren't just talking about the graphics card right now. This also includes all hardware. It is very possible as faulty hardware happens all the time. This could also be caused by incompatible hardware.

Look if you don't run hardware tests then we won't know if hardware is the problem.
I suggest you go back and read through HonorGamer's suggestion on troubleshooting the 0x124 bugcheck.
If you're not willing to do so then we can't help you.
