1. The question is already answered/solved by
johnhoh sir. The chipset driver includes drivers for USB 3.0 as well.
The chipset driver is all that is needed to be installed at first & then the other things. I would like to use chipset driver from the motherboard page link given by sir
strollin.

One needs to go to MB support page, choose
win 7 64 as the OS, expand the
chipset driver section by clicking
See All Downloads to list all the drivers & then choose

The second / smaller driver does not have
Graphic driver included.
Before downloading, make sure that the chosen OS is win 7 64!
2. The problem appears here is primarily due to USB 3.0 drivers because Win 7 does not support USB 3.0 out of the box. But sometimes CHIPSET may be added cause for problems.

Chipset drivers but they are listed in different ways for different models of different manufacturers. There is not an exact bar actually. For eg. here CHIPSET,Graphics & USB drivers are listed under Chipset but SATA AHCI / RAID have their own / independent listing.

To answer the latest question : I came across an HP laptop 2012 model which had one USB 2.0 & two USB 3.0 ports. It had an added special BIOS setting to make USB installation method smooth for win 7 or some earlier windows versions.
The auto setting was : All the USB 3.0 ports will work / function as purely USB 2.0 ports while in installation or recovery mode. But they will start to behave / function like a complete USB 3.0 port as soon as they are in a complete installation.
( It was possible to make them work as fully USB 3.0 ports even while in the installation or recovery process )
In a complete installation : To even support USB 2.0 devices with backward compatibility, USB 3.0 ports needed to be installed with proper USB 3.0 drivers or they will not work at all.

One more thing to mention is : When we connect a device to a USB port, it would behave as a dead /no device if the USB host controller is not installed.
Actually, USB drivers come basically with three drivers included : USB Host Controller, USB Hub & HCSwitch. First of all USB Host Controller is installed, then USB hub is installed. I never came across a pc with HCSwitch so i can't tell much about that but surely that is the third one before the USB ports start working if it is there!
Then only the attached keyboard, mouse or other USB devices will be recognized & installed. Still it is not the 100% case that they will be installed automatically from the Windows Update / Internet & work well &
You may have to take care of that as well! For eg. I came across some USB Wireless adapters, Tablets, etc. which did not work automatically with internet / windows update drivers in win 7. Even in some cases, the internet drivers were automatically downloaded & installed but the devices did not install & work properly. Then some dedicated drivers from the manufacturer finally did the things.The drivers / program was downloaded directly from their manufacturers & executed without those devices even connected! Drivers were started, on screen instructions were followed & the devices were connected only when it was asked for. Then only the devices were installed & worked properly.
That's where even the so full win 7 did not have the good inbox driver or a good driver from Windows Update for new devices.
Let me summarize :
(a) Decide over the drivers : Whether you need only USB 3 specific drivers or Chipset driver without Graphic driver or Chipset driver with Graphic driver. Actually one doesn't need Graphic drivers for the USB 3 functionality.
(b) Install it/them properly & make sure that they are working well by using USB 2 & USB 3 pen drives with them.
(c) Look for the dedicated win 7 drivers & install instructions from USB devices' Manufacturers
if any & follow them.

EDIT : Having said all of that, I suppose & make sure that i don't make life difficult for you :
1. Choosing driver : Better go for Chipset driver from MB support page.
If graphics card is well installed & working well, you may go for the one without graphics which is the second one ( 258.9 MB )
but if you feel that graphics are not optimum, go ahead with the first one ( 428.89 MB ). It includes driver for graphics as well.
2. Installing the driver & checking its functionality: Eject & Unplug / take out all the external media & devices. Then go ahead with the Chipset driver installation & follow the on screen instructions.
Once Chipset driver is installed properly, All the USB ports :
USB 2.0, USB 3.0 & USB 3.1 should work well with the pen drives.
Connect to internet & try USB 2.0 & USB 3.0 pen drives one by one to all ports. Always let all the installations complete if any!
3. Once the installations complete & pen drives work well with all the USB ports, Chipset has done all well.
Be connected to internet & connect the other USB devices one by one. Always let all the installations complete if any!
If any of the USB device does not work well, let us know. We may need to look for dedicated drivers & install instructions from the USB device(s) manufacturer(s) itself.

iko22 : There should be no problem using USB devices with USB 2.0 port unless mentioned otherwise But
I don't think that a USB mouse will work during installation or accessing BIOS but i am
not sure!
