Solved Additional drive appears (drive f) while forematting new drive

What if you shut down the PC unplug the G:\ hard drive and turn it back on and boot to the drive what does it say then .

I hope I did this correctly! I shut down the computer, unplugged the power sorce, hit the start swt, then unpluged both connections on the back of the G drive, then connected the power supply! and restarted the computer!

"Disk management" now shows it as C connected to the right slot ! Slot 0

Turn off the PC once more . Plug the G:\ drive back in . And power the PC back up

Are you using the White SATA ports ?

Yes! Both slot0 and 1 are white (Sata3)
