I've built six AMD rig's and they all crushed as well and can overclock like crazy. Bang for buck AMD still has it's place !
AMD is still the performance per dollar king, AMD well never have the benchmark scores of the high end Intel chips but they cost so much less. In everyday operation the AMD's feel as fast as the Intel that may bench 30-40% better.
That doesn't stop me from thinking about a i7 4960X series some day.
