autoplay in Win 7 stopped functioning

Anybody know exactly how to check and modify the registry in win 7 64 to allow the autoplay feature to function? It works for only one of my users. I have set and reset the default settings and default programs. I haven't seen too many people with this problem.Right now I'm choosing manually what program to run when I insert a CD or DVD.Is there a autoplay repair tool for Win 7? I would love to fix this,any help,thanks.

Did you type "autoplay" in the start menu search box and checked function as shown...?

Thanks.....Yes I did.Tried checking and unchecking,however ,actually nothing autoplays.This is a nice feature,wish I could get it back.any other ideas?
