black screen after installing windows 7 on my pavlilion

hi guys,
i'm a new member here and i really need help solving this problem

my laptop is "hp pavilion dv2700" ..my os was windows vista..i installed windows 7 on it
and after the installing ! my screen went black !!
i restarted my lap many times
but the screen is still black !! i tried to go to the safe mode but i still can't see anything
i also tried to connect the lap with my lcd tv ..it woked only once"tried many times but it woeked only once" and the screen on my lap worked !

so i don't really know what to do

please help ..i will really appreciate it

did you install windows 7 and reformat your hard drive (it goes through this step with you in installation), or did you upgrade from windows vista?

no i didn't upgrade it

i formatted the hard disk ...and installa fresh version of windows 7
