Black Screen after Logging In

Works fine. Should I replace the GPU then, or should reinstalling the drivers work? (Windows also took the liberty of installing the driver as soon as my desktop showed up... Stupid Windows.)

Yeah. I'd say so. Possibly before you do that and if you can, borrow a card from someone or pull one from another machine and see how it goes with it installed like that first. Good to verify that everything else is working well besides the card.

Or buy a new card from a place with a good return policy if needed.

Yeah I tried putting the drivers back and the desktop vanished again. So it looks like it's the card acting up... Guess I'm gonna run off to a tech shop tonight and get it replaced.
