Solved BSOD 0x000000116 Stop when playing games.

:mad::mad:
GODDAMM
As soon as i began a new game, it did the same crash AGAIN!!
I guess ill bring my pc to the store tomorrow

Crap :(

Out of curiosity, how long has this crashing been occurring and does it affect all games?

The laptop is 10 months old, has it been happening since you bought it, or is a more recent occurrence?

Does it ever crash when you're at the desktop, or is only when when playing a game?

It started to occur just a month ago, it only crashes during games.
When it crashed yesterday though, it ran fine for so long, then as soon as i restrated the game it crashed very fast. I played a bit later and again i was able to play for a while. I think the driver has resolved some issues but there is still one thing causing trouble. Ill ahve a look at the event viewer and see i it is still 1001 bug check.

found a site with a solution to a (probably) nvlddmkm.sys corrution/damaging

Did these steps to replace the file.
1. located nvlddmkm.sy_ in the C:\NVIDIA\display drivers
2. copied it to C:\
3. located nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\drivers
4. added .old extesnion ==> nvlddmkm.sys.old
5. started elevated cmd
6. "chdir C:\" to get to the C drive
7. "expand.exe nvlddmkm.sy_ nvlddmkm.sys" Created a new nvlddmkm.sys in C:\
8. placed the new nvlddmkm.sys file in C:\Windows\System32\drivers
9. rebooted pc

Just done with disk check, nothing out of the ordinairy.
I don't think it is the memory, (seen the actual part while cleaning, looked perfectly fine)

This is really getting me down

Do you have any idea what causes the bugcheck to make it crash
(asin whats the damm cause of this thing?)
I really don't want to go to the store and replace the pc....

Thanks for all the help i hope you pc geniuses ;) can figure out what just keeps causing this error.

These steps are necessary to narrow down the cause. I am running short on ideas as to what is causing it, which is a good thing, so we are making progress.

Quote:
Use this technique to "reset" your pagefile:
a ) Go to Start...Run...and type in "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
-Then click on the Advanced tab,
-then on the Performance Settings Button,
-then on the next Advanced tab,
-then on the Virtual Memory Change button.
b ) In this window, note down the current settings for your pagefile (so you can restore them later on).
-Then click on the "No paging file" radio button, and
- then on the "Set" button. Be sure, if you have multiple hard drives, that you ensure that the paging file is set to 0 on all of them.
-Click OK to exit the dialogs.
c ) Reboot (this will remove the pagefile from your system)
d ) Then go back in following the directions in step a ) and re-enter the settings that you wrote down in step b ). Follow the steps all the way through (and including) the reboot.
e ) Once you've rebooted this second time, go back in and check to make sure that the settings are as they're supposed to be.

Did the pagefile, again crashes :(

Tried another thing.
Removed the driver and installed the newer beta one.
Replaced the nvlddmkm.sys file again.
I will try once more, if the crash remains then i will leave it to you to find out what the nvlddmkm.sys is doing.

The driver being blamed is your graphics card driver because it is not responding to the system in a timely manner. Error 1001 that you get is your blue screen error, so not very helpful. Have you tried disabling the Intel GPU yet?

Alright im having trouble with the intel graphics.

Can't disable the Hd grapics 3000 card without the screen going black.
Upon reboot the screen has only 2 resolutions and the screen adapter isn't detected.
Im guessing i need nvidia to be set as standard.
May be stupid, but what is VGA for? ive found a site that has VGA downlaod for both the intel card and the NVIDIA card.

Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 5750G

What do i do now?

I need help in safely Disabling the Intel HD graphics.
Could anyone tell me what to do and what steps to follow?
Last time i tried via systemmanagement the screen went black and i had to manuel reboot. Re-enable them since the display was messed up.
(Wrong resolution, not able to change settings, adapter unknown)

Thanks for all the help so far

Go to Safe Mode (Press F8 on boot) and try disabling the Intel driver from there.

Disabled Intel Driver but:
Nvidia hasn't taken over the 2d, some VGAsave has taken over.
Also i can't acces any Nvidia settings.
'can't access because there's no nvidia card connected to a screen'
I think the Nvidia driver can't run without the intel driver being active.
Any idea's?

Alright, looked aronud in the Nvidia control panel.

I have put the Skyrim game to explicitly use the nvidia gpu.
-I put 'general settings' in the 3D settings to use 'powerfull nvidia processor'
-put skyrim to do the same.

Maybe this will force the Laptop to run on Nvidia?
I don't know if it will help but i can give it a try.
