BSOD After Playing Batman: Arkham Asylum

Hello, I get a BSOD after playing the Steam version of Batman: Arkham Asylum. The game works fine and then the system blue screens after an unspecified amount of time. I stopped playing the game and the error stopped. Recently I downloaded the Mafia II demo from Steam and ran into the same blue screen.

The dump screen points the error to: avgldx64.sys
Also says: STOP: 0x0000003B

System Info:
Alienware M17x - Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM)
Intel Q9000 Quad Core Processor 2.00 GHZ
6 Gigs Ram
GTX 280M SLI (Hybrid)
320 GB hard-disk

I also took a few photos of the BSOD, if needed I can post.

This one is very straight forward, stop code 3B, which is system services exception and avgldx64.sys, component of AVG was blamed. I would remove AVG completely.
using the uninstall tool > Info > Tool (32bit) - Tool (64 bit). If you have AVG Identity Protection installed, uninstall it also >Info > Tool[FONT=&quot]. I recommend that you install MSE and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on.
