Hey there, I haven't seen a BSOD since the 90s! Now it has happened 4 times since Friday. Mostly when I am away from computer.

I did do the Windows update for this week. I do them pretty regularly. I have Win 7 Home Premium 64bit; SP1.

I have followed the instructions to attach the "dump." (hopefully correctly)

My Computer Savvy on scale of 1-10, I am maybe a 4. :-)

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thanks, KJ.

It may be related. The crash dump is not very precise about it.

If it is a stray BSOD, you may overlook it. But if it continue to occur, better you uninstall the suspect update.
Also, as a caution, Test your RAM modules for possible errors.Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Let us know the results.

You know, my sister has also been having this problem lately. She keeps getting a BSOD after she has updated her computer...I wonder what's wrong?
