BSOD at random times while using.

It depends upon how much data is stored on your hard-drive, and it will be slower, if you are running other applications while MSE is scanning. Has it completed yet?

The scan completed and the computer is clean. It is done sometime after 7 hours I think. I let it rest for around an hour and turned it on to check my mails and stuffs and bsod occurred within less than an hour of use.

That's good to know, and it's best to run the test on the graphics card, and then start removing hardware one at a time which uses your PCI/PCIe slots.

For example, say your Sound Card was suspected of causing the BSOD, then remove the Sound Card and then see if a BSOD occurs.

I am just ran the GPU: OCCT test for 1 hour and around only 30 seconds into the test, the bsod occurred again. Does this confirm it as a graphics card problem?

I will upload the BSOD as soon as the machine can start. However how can I get the screenshots of the test? The bsod occurs within 30second into the test.

Remove the graphics card, do have a onboard graphics card or another graphics card to use for the computer?

I just removed the graphics card and i dont see anymore VGA or HDMI slots. I dont have any extra graphics card either:(

The OCCT test did not give me any result. I searched the directory u mentioned and the OCCT folder both has no report.

Do you have friend or know anyone who will be able to lend you a graphics card to use? The screen won't show anything without the graphics card inserted (do seem to not have a onboard graphics chip either), so reinsert the card at the moment and then remove another device which is using a PCI/PCIe slot.

I was not able to get another graphics card to try, however i bought a canned air and used it to thoroughly cleaned the graphics card. After that i tried the OCCT test again and it managed to complete the whole test! :) This is the result. Good news?

I am not very sure if the test went correctly as the screen image was still. I did some video card stress test and there are images moving around but this OCCT test image was the same throughout.

Is that all graphs which were saved? There's two lines on voltage graphs, one line is steady and normal, whereas, the other is fluctuating (possible bad PSU?), I will get someone to have a look for a confirmation, and the temperatures do look better now :)

Have you tried moving the graphics card to a different PCIe/PCI slot? What is the brand of your PSU? Most OEMs release their products with low quality PSUs.

May I know how do I get the brand of my psu? Looking at my psu, there is a sticker with a few lines of alphanumerical codes and 'made in china'. Nothing that indicates the manufacturer.

I did not relocate my graphics card slot. I don't remember seeing another same length slot as the graphics card slot on the board. And the graphics card slot is light blue whereas others are all black in color.

This is the CPUID. I will test using furmark soon and post the result. Actually rushing for an assignment now so cant afford to have my com go into BSOD again. Is the CPUID report normal?

Most readings look good but the 3.3V line is reporting 2.248V if that is correct thats bad

Should not drop below 3.1V

I would double check voltages in bios as that may be more reliable if it says the same then you may be looking at a dodgy psu

Dell PSUs and OEM PSUs in general, are usually not of a high quality standard.

is it receiving 2.248V because of a faulty PSU or is it originally like this since its from dell? Anyway i could fix it?

If the 3.3V rail is only putting out that voltage then i would expect the psu to be knackered, personally i would physically check it with a multimeter to confirm before i replaced it because no its not fixable

I did the furmark test and the highest temperature reached 82 degrees around 30 minutes after i started the test. May i know where do i get the graphs and results from the furmark test? Where is it stored?

I do not have a multimeter to check the voltage, but is it necessary that i change the PSU? would u suggest it? Is this malfunction affecting my other hardwares or the overall performance of the computer as well?
