BSOD Driver_Power_State_Failure Stop 0x9F (Even After Format)

I've had this problem for about a month or so now, every time I resume from hibernation mode on my laptop I get a BSOD after around 10 minutes + (Never really timed if it's the same value EVERY time). I ended up formatting my pc yesterday and also downloaded a software that automatically updates all the drivers on my pc, yet to no avail. This is pretty frustrating to me as both a graphic designer and a student as now I'm afraid to take my laptop to school/work and risking losing important data.

Also, chrome has had a similar problem handling flash after hibernation mode (Seemed funny to me, having all these problems occur just after hibernation mode, but I'm not sure if it's linked or not)

I haven't installed any games till now and don't really run heavy programs apart from Photoshop, Mozilla Thunderbird (if you can call that 'heavy'), and Skype. I was careful as to how many programs to download just in case the problem persists, which it did.

PS: May we ask what security software is installed on your system?
And, is this a personal lappy or corporate one?
Warranty status?

A few things you can try that is:


Perform a System File Check:

1. Click on the start rb:
2. Type CMD on Search
3. Left click and Run as Administrator
4. Type SFC /scannow

Reduce items at start-up. Nothing except anti-virus is required:

First of all, thanks for the warm welcome

Secondly, a few points as per request:

• Well the "Memory.dmp" file is 500mb+ it seems (Do I set it to 'small dump file' instead of 'kernel'?
• System Specs Have Been Updated
• Warranty expired a month or two back
• I don't have any antivirus programs installed
• SFC Didn't find any problems, running HDD scan as soon as I finish writing this post
• It is a personal laptop not a corporate one
• I disabled all programs at startup (Even drivers, should i enable those?)

Update: Hard Disk Check done, nothing unusual to report

Seems like all that's left is to force a BSOD for the dump file, should have one in 30 minutes

Hmm .. no BSOD yet ... but I wouldn't be so sure that it's solved.

If nothing happens in 24 hours i'll mark it as solved anyway, thanks till then mate !

Nah, problem's too persistent. If everything's ok for the next 24 hours i'm pretty sure it's solved hahaha. Funny how I didn't REALLY change a lot apart from the disk check :f
