Yes, if you look to the right, it will show you the SOD info, which is embedded in the ram by the manufacturer. It has set it to those specs, for start up. As best as I can tell, they both are OK. The second screenshot, of the ram you are using now, just says auto, but the SPD info is on there and auto should be that, so I should be set right.

On the first i noticed the minimum ras active time is set to 40t is it not suppose to be 24 i dont understand the timing on ram fully i know the ram in question is 9-9-9-24 what is the 24 and where would it be shown on those bios screens

Not necessarily. The timings you see in the sticker are what you can set it to run. When the computer starts up for the first time, there are a set of SPD values it reads to start it up, which may be different than the stated specs. You can set it to the rated specs and it will run that way. The reason it is that way, may be more meaningful in my case more than yours. I am running F4-2800 MHz ram. There is no board that can run it that way automatically. So, the manufacturer gives it timings and a frequency the board can run it at on first startup. Once it will start, I can go into bios and set my ram the way I want to. You can set yours to 9-9-9-24 2T 1600MHz @1.5V. But, it will run at the startup specs.

CPUz (CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID) will tell you most of that information. It just does not tell you the timings for first startup, but will tell you the frequency.

So my main question then is do you think this would have anything to do with the bsods i mean this memory has been in 2 different pcs but i of course seen more bsods on first motherboard but of course have been running that pc more then i have run the new mb i have only had the new mb for about 4 days and only had 2 bsods as i previously stated one resulting in a actual dump file and the first one did not create a dump file and so far with other memory in have thankfully seen no bsods but will be testing more over next week or two if i do not see any bsods for awhile i might try to put the ram in question back in and c if i have any more problems because it is a better grade ram. Do you think the ram could be actually faulty, not liking mbs i have put it in, or any chance it has to do with those settings???

Do you have any Gigabyte utilities still installed? If so, uninstall all of them. Also, please add your power supply to your system specs.

Ok so as of now with random testing over past few days have yet to see a crash with the pny memory in i have done a few tests in between with the crucial memory installed and have not seen any crashes hoping not to see anymore i believe it may actually have been a incompatibility problem with old mother board and memory. So for now i am going to mark this as solved but will continue testing to see if crucial memory is faulty or just not compatible with previous mb. I thank you all very much for your help
