Hello, the laptop I am having troubles with is an Acer Aspire 7730G, Windows Vista.

I know this is a pretty old laptop, but I still want to try and see if there is a solution to the problem which I am having.

On startup I get two options: Startup Repair and Normal Startup. When I chose startup repair nothing happens, it just goes back to the page with the same two options instantly. When I chose normal startup it starts up till the logo, and then gives a blue screen, and then restarts instantly again bringing be back to the two options screen.
I cannot read the BSOD message because it isn't even on the screen for a second, its like a flash.

I also tried starting up in safe mode, but that gives a BSOD too, and then it just restarts back to the two options screen.

First Thing: If you cannot boot into Safe Mode, just use Hiren's BootCD.
Second Thing: From Hiren's BootCD select Mini Windows 7.
Third Thing: When it's boot'ed, please go to c:\windows\minidump and post the minidump here.

If I missed something, please let me know.
BTW, Go to Windows Vista Forums and post there.

From Hirens boot CD, i'm supposed to select mini Windows 7 on a Windows Vista computer?

Also where is the best place to download Hirens boot cd, and then put it on a cd?
