I live in my house
I keep getting blue screens of death, sometimes randomly when doing anything like browsing the net, but it seems a sure fire way is to play a game like saints row the third, or sims 3, sometimes it's a blue screen of death, but other times it's just a black screen. Can someone help me out? I've attached my thingy that i was meant to attach

Hello bluesaber27,

In most of your crash dumps, I am getting it:
Code:
Probably caused by : Pool_Corruption ( nt!ExDeferredFreePool+100 )
--------------------------------------
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000000000000, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception
Arg4: 0000000000000000, Parameter 1 of the exception
In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

There are some problem software installed in your computer. Will look for those, after seeing the verifier enabled dumps, coz any of them may cause those crashes.

Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept the restart.

well, i started the driver verifier and i didn't have long to wait, after reboot and before even reaching the welcome screen my computer got a bluescreen, even after several restarts. So i had to do a repair on my pc so i'm not sure if the dumps were saved but i'll attach them anyway.

Uninstall Daemon Tools, and let us know if it is crashing anymore.

It may. I am guessing there are some other programs like BitDefender, Gigabyte bloatwares etc may crash there.

Yes, you can. :) But dont forget to disable it, if it does not scan in DV enabled, after a reasonably long time, say 24 hours.

ok so i uninstalled deamon tools, and i rebooted after starting driver verifier. i got to my desktop with no problem, but then when xfast usb (a program which came with the installation disc of my motherboard) started to load up my computer would just freeze, i tried this again and it froze at xfast usb again, so i went safemode and uninstalled it. I went off safemode but my pc froze again, but this time during that black screen before the welcome screen. Also, my sf diagnostic tool broke or something, i tried re downloading but it's still broken. It will freeze at event log done box and then i have to close it. Before it freezes though, it askes if i want to overwrite over some files.
Edit: i got it to work, what i did was close the program while it was running, for some reason that fixed it. I'll attach my dump files.

There is no new crash dump in the zip after that one is already checked.... so may be it is not any BSOD, just a freeze.

Now you may uninstall BitDefender.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Also, uninstall these programs:

  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\AsrAppCharger
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\ASRock eXtreme Tuner
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\InstantBoot
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\SmartConnect
  • Start Menu\Programs\Auslogics\Disk Defrag : Use Puran, if you need any.
  • Start Menu\Programs\GIGABYTE\EasyBoost
What is the situation after these all?

well, i've installed them all, but full system scans are gonna take a while. I'm gonna have to do them tomorrow, I hope you don't mind. But i want to take this chance to thank you for helping me with this frustrating problem, and even if it ends up that my computer is unfixable, i still want to thank you for helping me so far. :)
Edit: btw, do my dump files show my porn collection?

okay, these scans take so long to do but i completed the MSE one, everything showed up clean, i'll come back and report what malwarebyte says after it's done, might not finish the scan today.
Edit:Okay, malwarebyte has finished scanning, it detected one thing, coretemp, an exe i used to monitor some pc things, not sure why it thinks it's dangerous, but i think it deleted it. Doesn't say why t's dangerous either. So, what should i do now?
Edit 2:just got another BSOD while not doing much, i had league of legends running, but i wasn't in game. I'll attach my dump files.

Update it from Intel Download Center.

In my best guess, you need to update the driver of the USB scanner.

But as it says "Pool Corruption", there should be something more. For the port, first, uninstall and reinstall the USB ports drivers.

  1. Right click on Computer icon > manage. It will open the computer management window.
  2. Click on "Device Manager" in the left pane, it will list all installed devices up.
  3. Expand "USB Serial Bus Controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  4. Click on one item to select, then right click and uninstall.
  5. Do the same for all.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate drivers.
And, Disable USB Selective Suspense too.
USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off

For the devices, first, detach all the USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse.
Then, Update the drivers for them all, including the keyboard and mouse, if any third party drivers are installed for them.

Scan the system for possible virus infection.

Uninstall it. Or try an update from Frequently asked questions (FAQ) about cFosSpeed - Internet-Accelerator + Ping optimizer - cFos Software GmbH.

► update the network driver.
First, download the network card driver from manufactuer's website.
Then reinstall the driver:

  1. Click the Start Button, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Start Menu Search box and press Enter.
  2. Double click to expand "Network adaptors".
  3. Right click your network card and click Uninstall.
  4. Check "Delete driver software for this device" check box, click OK.
  5. Restart the computer
  6. If windows does not auto configure the appropriate drivers at startup, install the downloaded one manually.
Let us know the results.

Dell Studio 15" Laptop
okay, i think the bluescreen problem has been solved, but i still get these crashes where my screen gets no signal after playing sims 3 for a while. I'll attach my dump, is there anything you can do to help me fix this?
Edit: i just got another crash while playing sims, this time my screen didn't get no signal, it turned into black and brown stripes instead. Pretty annoying since sims doesn't have an auto save so i lose my progress.
