Hello, sorry for my poor English. I started getting this BSOD code 116 and now it happens very often while I'm starting the game.

I rollback my NVidia drivers to the older version (clean install) and still getting the problem. I upload the file here and let me know if I miss any information.

Thanks you

Update :
1. After removing dust from cooling fan and RAM, I run the test with FurMark (20 mins) and 3DMark no BSOD occur but VGA temperature at fullload is very high (max 96 C).
2. Run Memtest86+, no problem with RAM i guess.

Hello and welcome to seven forums :)

VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116)
Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed.

There is a reference from this forum about bugcheck 116, taken from here:
It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception.

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OSs like XP to crash. As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds. If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating. Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU. Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference. If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.

Try to make sure your PC/VGA card is getting an adequate cooling.

Thank you for reply.
I found that the temperature of of VGA is very high (80 C) and may be this BSOD is cause from this. I will update again if there is any problems.

Thanks you again.

Yeah I try to keep the temperature not too hot, and seem it works for a while. Since yesterday, this stop code occurs everytime when I start opening any programs using GPU.

I check the temperature of both GPUs (using GPUz), Intel HD 4000 (55-65 C) and GTX 670m (35-40 C), at normal.

So I have no ideas about this right now.:confused:
