cannot connect - no connections available

I have multiple win 7 machines networked and sharing files. I just bought another
machine and can't get it online. I get message "not connected no connections available"
even though I'm sitting here with my laptop posting to you. I'm relatively inexperienced
but checking "network discovery", "home network", everything is turned on. I did a cmd
'sf /scannow' showing no problems found. Turned off firewalls & still not. I know my router's
fine because I'm online elsewhere. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Try uninstalling the wireless driver and then get the latest wireless driver for your card from the laptop mfr.
