Cannot install KB4540688 error 0x80073701

Hi there,


i've been having a load of issues trying to install KB4540688 and keep getting the error 0x80073701. I have the prerequisite packages installed, but it will not install.

i have run the SURT tool and uploaded a copy of my CBS folder here:

KB4540688 is the March 2020 security monthly quality rollup, so your computer appears to be 2 months behind (March and April) on post-EOL updates.

What "prerequisites packages" are you referring to that you say you've installed?

Hi rialnet,
Looks like SURT didn't complete, however the CheckSUR.log has 1400+ errors, all mums.
I'd recommend a Repair Install
