Hello rbaraldi, welcome to Seven Forums!

There's always these options after the clean all finishes and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

   Note

  • Then if you do not want to create the new Windows 7 "System Reserved" partition use the outline in Step Two #2 to create, format and mark Active a single 100GB partition to do the installation to.
  • If you do want to create the "System Reserved" partition use the outline in Step Two #3 to create, format and mark Active the System Reserved partition and then create and format the 100GB partition to do the installation to.

Guys
I started all over again, the W7 instalation (from USB) created two partition C: (for systems) and D:(for w7). The first time instalation stuck in the same point, after copy all the files the pc cannot boot, keeping asking for boot disk. I review the C: partition and there is no /bootmgr on it and off course no bcd file. After booting from a USB rescue, typed bcdedit and show two part. General with path c:\ and the windows with the correct path of winload.
What is happen ? Both partition C and D are marked "active" as in the tutorials. PLEASE ADVICE ! THX

Did you wipe the HD before trying install? SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation The boot sector may be corrupt and need wiping.

Where did you get Win7? Verify the ISO integrity and burn another DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed, or write the ISO to flash using UltraISO trial version: on File Open ISO, on Bootable Write Disk Image, Format, Write.

You should be able to see the two partitions created during install. A 100mb System Reserved boot partition is created to be System Active, then a Win7 partition. After install only Win7 will be lettered C regardless of what WinRe or Diskpart tells you during install; I'd stop mucking in the bcdedit as everything related to that is automated during install, and also now automated in Startup Repair.

Hi
Did you wipe the HD before trying install? yes. I had Wxp before on that this, that´s why I try to installl w7.
Where did you get Windows 7? From intenet and looks like its fine. The DVD drive is broken in my PC, but I will try anyway.
You should be able to see the two partitions created during install. Yes two partition looks like fine. The problem that the C: (A 100mb System Reserved boot partition ) dont show any file or directory.
Maybe the first cilinder is corrupt. how can I fixed ? Normal diskpart dont give me error when partitioned it or format it.
Just remember the first W7 instalation never finish at this point, several files are in d: I used the bcdwrite just to look.
Pls help

What did you use to Wipe the HD?

How do you plan to activate Win7 if you got an installer off the web?

Make sure you have latest BIOS version. If so, reset the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS.URL

While in BIOS setup set SATA controller to AHCI first to try install.

Remove all but 2gb of RAM to try install. Test your RAM: RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Forums.url
Follow these steps, use Custom install, Drive Options to partition and format before install: Clean Install Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums.URL

Yesterday tried again with the "clean all" option in the driskpart but no sucess. I believe there is a phisical problem in the begining of the disk. I supouse the clean all can fix this , but the problem with no boot in the middle of the w7 installing process, still remain. Keeping walking !!!! Thanks
