I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and system is about one month old. Bought the Ultimate because it's supposed to allow you to install older programs. Today, I tried to install my Nero 7 Ultra Edition Enhanced (retail disc). It went so far and threw up an error. Tried reinstalling to no avail. Now it won't even let me uninstall it (it starts to uninstall then throws an error). It appears to have all the folders on my C drive now but it does not start. Should I try reinstalling or uninstalling in Safe Mode? Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. I do not want to use the newer versions. In fact, I'd rather use v6 if possible as never had a seconds problem with it.
