Solved COD4 MP- new install

Hello all,

I just installed COD4 MP on this newer install of Win 7, but I can't access any servers.

Only thing different from when it was running before is that I now use a router. Do I have to do something to allow the game through.

update your COD4 to version 1.7

first dl : Patches and Fixes: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare v1.6 Patch - Demo Movie Patch Download Section - GamersHell.com
2nd dl: News: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare v1.7 Patch - GamersHell.com

after all patched , it may works

Have you tried reading the CoD 4 dedicated forum yet? perhaps you can find more or better answers there?

Yea at least here we answer, LOL

But there server must have been done at 5AM EST, because now at 5PM EST it worked and I got my list of servers.

Like I said, I did nothing different from what I done probably four and five times in the past after a re-install of Windows. So that's why I was confused.

Understanding the problem was solved for you - just a nother 2-cents; several people run into this after changing the source of your server(s). For example from internet to favorites to lan. Or, if they use a mod and don't revert to unmodded before they try and refresh the list.
