You need to go to task manager and post a screen shot of services, processes and preformance so we can see what all is running. Cause I'm online with my anti virus( 4 processes), my tv & task manager running along with everything else with between 2- 4% cpu usage. something is really wrong.

If it does start going back up to 100% again, go in to services and disabled the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, as this caused a few problems with my PC and excessive CPU usage. All it does really is allow you to network your Xbox 360 to your PC.
