CPU Voltage Issue help?

So ive had my CPU set at 4.4GHz for a few months now and it has always ran perfectly fine. however just recently, ive been getting apps crashing like BF4 and that is usually caused by too low of a cpu voltage. so ive checked my voltages and noticed its at 1.152V intead of my usual 1.17ish. i went into bios to try and increase the offset, and nothing happends. its stuck at 1.152. when i loaded my 4.2GHz profile, again it was stuck at 1.152 which is way high for 4.2. thats uaually on stock voltage. i tried to load my 4.5GHz profile, and windows didnt even boot. if i load stock, everything id fine and its at 1.086V under prime. ive tried to reset bios but no avail. any ideas how to fix this?

Can you post screenshots of your Bios Noober. I had that same thing with BF4. I just increased the vcore slightly and fixed it

thats the issue. i cant increase or decrease the vcore. it wont let me. im stuck at 1.152V.

Yeah I wanted to see what the settings looked like. When you reset the bios, did you set defaults or clear the cmos? I would clear the cmos, make sure it takes by looking at the date and time...it should go back to the date the board was made.

alright i think i fixed it. i ended up loading optimized defaults, clearing cmos, resetting the CPU and RAM. seems to be working now. just have to set up all ,y profiles again. girrr.

ok, im still having this issue! for some reason, idk why, but by bios just switched its self to 1.152V on the core instead of my 1.172V. it just does it by its self! i cant figure out why! the only thing that work to fix it is clearing CMOS, but then a few restarts later and it does it again! any ideas? will i have to RMA this board?

EDIT: It seems to be happening only when i turn off my PSU...

Are you running the latest BIOS version? There was a bug in some of the earlier bios files that had this effect. It was fixed with a later bios update.

The bug they had affected different people different ways. What you are describing is the way it affected me. Once you flash the BIOS you can change whatever you want and it works fine. Once you set an offset voltage and leave it there it will not change. It will show the change in BIOS, but it will not translate to the OS. At least, that's the way mine was. A later bios update fixed it, but it took then a while to be able to replicate it. Just get it the way you want it and leave it there. Don't ever leave the vcore at auto. Then if you want to change it, just clear CMOS or re-flash the BIOS, whichever is easier for you or whichever works. If you will put a flash drive in and on each BIOS page press F12, I believe it is, it will put a picture of that page on the flask drive. You can post it here for Doug to look at. we will see if there is anything we notice that may be wrong.

yea thats exactly what its doing for me. ill try reflashing the bios again, if that dosnt work, then whatever. its not a big deal. so far its only happening when when i turn off the PSU. i do have my VCore set at an offset voltage.
