ok, so i've just learned about Core Parking in Windows 7. i've found a link to a microsoft support website that supposedly says microsoft released a hotfix for disable core parking.
i'm wondering if anyone can vouch for this hotfix? of has any information on core parking or personal experience. i think i'm going to give it a try anyways, but mostly i'm wondering if i should to the registry edit found here or do the microsoft hotfix found here
the regedit way seems to be reversible if you don't like it by simply re-editing the registry to the previous values you changed it from. the microsoft hotfix says its not reversible or "uninstallable" (if thats a word LoL).
BTW i have confirmed my computer is core parking. i want to see if this helps my games in the slightest bit.
*EDIT: also, microsoft's support webpage i've linked there claims "When this update is installed, Bulldozer modules will be less likely to achieve the C6 power state."
does this mean it will be disabled if i disable "core C6 state" in the bios?
