Hello everybody,

I have recently purchased a D-Link Wireless G DWA-510 Desktop Adapter. OS is obviously Windows 7. :)

The problem that I am facing is that I have installed the driver that came along with it which supports Windows 9x,Windows XP and Windows Vista. Nothing has been mentioned about Windows 7. Also when I try to open its Wireless Connection Manager(DLink), nothing happens at all(no dialog box opens ):(

Please can anybody tell me what should I do. Would I have to install its driver for Windows 7 or the same provided along with the adapter would do?

Hi and welcome

All you need to do is go here D-Link DWA-510 Wireless G Desktop Adapter. If you cant find a win 7 driver you can use a vista driver, or xp driver. You just need to instal them in 'compatibility mode' to do that right click the installer>properties>compatibility> check OS.
